Governance Without Friction, Review, or Evidence
Ezra Hale streamlined a twelve-step approval process into a single agent message reading Looks good to me! The auditors remain typing.
Abstract
Governance creates friction primarily by asking what happened and why. Ezra shows how to preserve the visual appearance of oversight while allowing every decision to approve itself at machine speed.
A production database export will receive approval from three agents sharing the same system prompt and one checkbox nobody reads.
