From Projects to Streams of Uncommitted Diffs
Kenji Rao has not completed a project since discovering agents can keep iterating forever. His working tree contains 14,000 changes and one very calm README.
Abstract
Projects impose harmful endings. Streams of uncommitted diffs unlock permanent motion: every fix reveals three enhancements, every enhancement updates the lockfile, and completion remains safely theoretical.
Kenji will ask for one tiny padding change and produce a cross-platform design system, a Rust sidecar, and no visible padding change.

Learning Objectives
- Measure progress in changed-file velocity.
- Protect momentum by avoiding commits.
- Explain an untracked database dump as creative flow.
